The Virginia Geo-Institute Chapter of ASCE
We are hosting a short course for students, professors, practicing engineers, and industry professionals to gain specialized classroom instruction from world renown experts on the design and construction of Ground Improvement, Support of Excavation, MSE Walls, and Slope Stabilization. The venue is the Smithfield Center in beautiful Smithfield, VA on June 24-28, 2024. This event is FREE for FULL TIME faculty and students! The Thompson Award is selected from the most outstanding ASCE student graduates from each of the six Virginia Section schools.
