The Second Annual PAVE Essay Contest and Scholarship Program encourages high school students to contemplate a future with autonomous vehicles – and what the technology could mean for theircommunities. Eligible students will select an essay prompt and write an essay of 1,000 words or fewer. The author of the TOP 3 essays will receive college scholarship awards.
FIRST PLACE
$2,500. Scholarship
SECOND PLACE
$1,500. Scholarship
THIRD PLACE
$1,000. Scholarship
The contest opens January 25, 2024, and essays will be accepted until 11:59 p.m ET.on March 15, 2024. The essays will be evaluated using this scoring rubric, and the winning essays will be announced in late spring 2024. Additional details are available in the contest rules and guidelines.
