MRLC 2023

The ASCE 2023 Region 1, 2, 4 & 5 MRLC - Multi-Region Leadership Conference was held in Charlotte, NC on January 19-21, 2023. This was the first time since the pandemic started that an MRLC was held in person. The Eastern Region Younger Member Council - ERYMC and Workshop on Student Chapter Leaders - WSCL were also held in person at the MRLC. From the Virginia Section, only two members attended and gained valuable insight on the society and leadership knowledge. 2022 VA Infrastructure Report Card

On Tuesday, December 6, 2022, the ASCE Virginia Section released the 2022 VA Section Infrastructure Report Card. The release was held at the Lynnhaven Boat Ramp and Park in Virginia Beach, VA where the attendees included a State Legislator and Representatives from VDEQ, VDOT, and Virginia Passenger Rail Authority.  The overall grade was a C. This is a higher grade than what Virginia received in its last report card in 2015. In 2015, Virginia had a C- grade.
