ASCE Virginia Section was founded in 1922. Our objective shall be the advancement of the science and profession of Civil Engineering. The ASCE Virginia Section has seven branches: Blue Ridge Branch (1967): Counties of Albermale, Augusta, Greene, Highland, Madison, Nelson, Page, Rockingham, Shenandoah Bull Run Branch (1969): Counties of Frederick, Clarke, Warren, Loundoun, Fauquier, Prince William, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Culpeper, and Rappahanock Lynchburg Branch (1975): Counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell, Charlotte, Halifax, Pittsylvania, and Rockbridge. Centennial Gala

The key event of the Virginia Section’s Centennial Celebration will be a Centennial Gala evening event. A Subcommittee has been established under the Virginia Section Board of Directors (BOD) to plan and execute the event. The Section plans to host the Gala at the Omni Richmond Hotel in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday, March 26, 2022. The Region 4 Assembly of the American Society of Civil Engineers is proud to conduct the Daniel V. Terrell Paper Competition for Younger Members.
