The ASCE 2023 Region 1, 2, 4 & 5 MRLC – Multi-Region Leadership Conference was held in Charlotte, NC on January 19-21, 2023. This was the first time since the pandemic started that an MRLC was held in person. The Eastern Region Younger Member Council – ERYMC and Workshop on Student Chapter Leaders – WSCL were also held in person at the MRLC. From the Virginia Section, only two members attended and gained valuable insight on the society and leadership knowledge. These two members also participated in moderating sessions and planning events throughout the weekend.
The Richmond Branch was recognized as the Most Outstanding Small Branch. Congratulations to the Richmond Branch on this fantastic accomplishment!
Many thanks the the Region 4 Younger Member Council on their fantastic job hosting the many Younger Member events throughout the weekend. They put together a memorable social, held at the Panthers Den at the Bank of America Stadium – Home of the Carolina Panthers.
