Civil engineers solve real-world problems that impact everyday life, from ensuring safe transportation to developing sustainable cities.

This is the world of Civil Engineers who design, build, and maintain the very infrastructure of Virginia. In the brochure linked below, you will meet four young civil engineers who are continuing on a remarkable journey that started in school with STEM programs. You’ll also be introduced to some of the National Historic Civil Engineering Landmarks that you can see for yourself in different parts of Virginia.
