Dr. Matthew R. Eatherton receives the Moisseiff Award for 2016

Eatherton-Photo-3-263x305In the continuing effort to enhance communications between ASCE Headquarters and the Regions, Sections, and Branches, Geographic Services is pleased to announce that Dr. Matthew R. Eatherton, Ph.D., P.E., S.E., M.ASCE of the Virginia Section has been selected to receive the 2016 Moisseiff Award “For the paper, “Quasi-Static Cyclic Behavior of Controlled Rocking Steel Frames,”.

Dr Eatherton is an assistant professor in the department of civil & environmental engineering at Virginia Tech. He received his Ph.D from University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign  in 2010. Visit the website below to find more about him.
